SoulFire NPCs
Currently the undead version of Sir Lucan does not drop bone chips and should at least have a chance of dropping up to two. Additionally, Lashun Novashine appears to only path to and from the newbie yard and the monk guild house, but in classic he also frequented the Temple of Life.

All of this is fixed, pending update.
Some more discussion about coin rewards though: #1. Coin rewards being processed on multiple lines can be done, but it would be manual changes per npc script.
Currently, the text a client receives is for example: You receive 10 copper pieces. This is not correct, it should be: You receive 10 copper pieces from npcname. Additional screenshot: [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] For #2, I have a working fix, but will wait to commit it until more details for modification are known, if any. | ||

Regarding current live, I just checked the zam page and shows separate coin rewards as of 2016

So far nothing predating 2001, though skimming through the relevant patch notes, there appears to be no mention of any changes made to coin rewards from quests. Presumably the color of the text remained the same as quest text, white/black. More examples below of separate lines for each coin type, always from lowest to highest denomination.

Pending update:
-Modified code to include npc name in coin reward events. i.e. 'You receive 10 copper pieces from npcname.' -Changed existing scripts to have multiple line output for coin rewards (asc order of value). -Modified coin reward text to be default white instead of green. | ||
