Default China's epic traffic jam could last untill September

-The traffic jam was over 90 miles long at one point

-The average speed was 2 miles per day

-Traffic is at the outskirts of Beijing and is stretching toward the border of Inner Mongolia ever since roadwork on the Beijing-Tibet Highway started Aug. 13

And here i am complaining about a 20 min delay on the Garden State parkway

Thats some crazy shit, i was reading an article on "Human flesh search engines" in China the other day, which is a group of people pooling their resources together to find out someones identity, like what happened to cat bin lady in the UK this week.

China is fascinating, growing at an exponential rate and if theyre half as dumb as westerners were, were fucked.

I believe they are fairly careful to copy their development from how the western countries did it. Combine that with their 3.5x population and you can see why the hell that country is having problems like this. Though I suspect that their problems will be exponentially compounded by their population...not linearly.
