Crystal statues - Velks Lab

I was in velks lab entrance briefly yesterday. I wanted to test the hp of the crystal statues so I pulled them both to zone line, dotted them both, then when dot ran out I zoned out.

When i zoned back in, I saw the statues close to their location, but then i witnessed them move past their spawn point and into the wall and disappearing from view. I waited like 5 minutes and they still never returned. I was the only person in the zone.

I'm not sure what the issue is and ive never seen it happen before. It could be just a weird anomoly or the mobs were going for an inappropriate pathing node. I'll probably check it out again later tonight.
