Excessively wide field of view might be the culprit. EQ-Titanium does not support true wide-screen aspect ratios; wide-screen resolutions are created instead by effectively chopping off the top and bottom of the view area and then sizing the resulting rectangle to match your monitor. The wider your resolution's aspect ratio, the less you can actually see in-game. Is this what's happening?

You can try using the /viewport command to make it look less wonky, but it's a 4:3 game so it looks best in a 4:3 aspect ratio. If you're at 3440x1440 then a 1600x1200 window should fit nicely on approx half your monitor, no?

If you want fullscreen, then just find a resolution that looks decent on your monitor, and check the monitor's settings so it doesn't stretch or otherwise mess with the display.

-edit maybe 1920x1440?
