Slime rancher looked fun to play with kids. It's stupid cute. $6 on steam atm with overwhelmingly positive (98%) reviews. I've been eyeing that to play with my niece for years now. Minecraft is probably a great idea, too. Electronic legos.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 was incredible.
Age of Empires 2 may be my favorite not MMO PC game of all time. While I did play a decent amount of PVP, I probably spent even more time playing single player custom battles of me VS 3-4 other npc controlled armies. Great game | ||

if valheim content updates are good, it's better than terraria. which makes it best game since quake / half life engine imo
