To the OP: I am interested in seeing how he plays the cards Trump dealt him. Biden is a pretty moderate politician. He's been around a long time and knows how to play the game. I don't support Biden or Trump. I support POTUS in a general sense in that I hope they can not screw up so badly that our economy is strong. So we don't turn in to a socialist state. Anyone who doesn't isn't rooting for the home team.

As far as a civil war: the last time we had a civil war we lost... millions of lives with a population much smaller than we have now. If a simple ratio holds true we would lose tens of millions of lives if not over 100 million. (Wikipedia would give some better numbers for whomever is interested.) Anyone who says they support a civil war is daft.

Many poor climate scientists would argue that over population is the greatest threat to mankind all together.

Many wealthy people who actually have a hand in deciding if we go to war or not, either believe that or that peasants like us are worthless and replenishable anyway.

So the loss of life may not be a factor when we finally decide to go to war or not again.
