Don't sweat twink pk's.

Getting ambushed while xping is what makes eq worth playing

Love it or hate it, twinks were part of original EQ PvP. I remember getting wrecked in 2001 by fungi rogues (Though not so much the Ragebringers). Just accept it, LnS and go XP somewhere else. Does it hurt the population? Possibly. However, it's also true to vanilla, and many other things that were true to vanilla, such as corpse runs, boat rides, fizzles, food/drink concerns, med times, and overall difficulty of the game may also hurt the population. The only thing we're selling here is nostalgia, and if we abandon things that make EQ what it was, we begin to lose even that.

It's not a bad thing. It's a good thing for twinks to come try to gank, even if you get ganked, man it's the experience. It makes it fun. You might win some, you might lose some, but you'll still feel that exhilaration from someone tryin to get that uber pk on you, whether you win or lose. That's what it's all about.

The only difference I've seen is the the gear of the twinks, the slower progression of the server has allowed better geared twinks than at the same point during classic. And people are now much more familiar with the game (where to level, tricks for levelling) so they could get that higher gear faster.

hen I stopped playing back in 2001-2002 people knew way less about the the game, even the basic game mechanics. This means they were a little slower during the first run of the game, but most of us now are faster too...according to the poll only 3% of the server is brand new to EQ.

Running into traffic suggests he started the fight.

This scenario sounds more like waiting til the road crossing is green, crossing, then getting purposely mowed down by some redneck in a huge pick up screaming YEEHAWW and playing Deliverance at volume 11, shooting Smith N Wessons out of each hand, whilst chewing tobacco, wearing a chequered red and black sleeveless shirt.

In summary; smd red f4gs, your server is lul.
