I cannot find this file to be able to play the game. I've looked in the forum, and every link to it seems to be unavailable...any tips?

I downloaded that patch and extracted it to my p1999 folder, still doesnt work, still says spells_us.txt is missing

Did you get a prompt to overwrite files when you did this? The patch files need to overwrite the corresponding files in your everquest folder.

yes, i clicked overwrite. Two times i tried and it wont work. I've had this happen quite a few times, although it was a couple years ago. I used to be able to find links on the forum to download just the spell_us.txt but now i click on them and they are gone, or site doesnt load.
