Alchemy clarification...
For the Shaman skill Alchemy, if I start the skill at my guild master at level 25, is the skill set at 01 (with a maximum of 05) or is it set at 25, but red until I level 29?
Thanks! | ||

Here is a chart showing the max alchemy skill at levels 25 and up.
http://wiki.project1999.com/Alchemy#Skilling_Up And to answer directly I believe it's just set to 1.

I'm also interested in the answer to this question.
As it stands, I'd wait on my shaman for level 31 before putting a point into alchemy. The offchance the skill would get set to the current character level is attractive. 25-31 isn't such a huge wait, and you'll be much more succesful at what potions you do attempt this way. | ||

If you intend to guild master skill up, just wait to be 31 and dump 35 skill points into alchemy.
It won't cost you much and it's not like you spend many skill points to your trainer anyway.
