On a 5 game streak atm as our offense finally is picking up again. B-more only had one hit vs the cubs on sunday and that kind of hitting just wont do it against our lineup. Only 3 and 1/2 games out of the wildcard and I'm sure well pull thru for the captains last season.

Our pitching staff has pretty much been falling apart. All that hype over Tanaka (some of it well deserved) and he just ends up on the DL list during crunch time in the wc race. Pretty sweet that Pineda is back and pitching like his old self but I don't think we can hold up with our pitching v some of the other teams. We still have a shot but if the pitching continues like it did last night we wont have much of a chance making it to the post-season.
Will have to see what happens tonight v the tigers but last I checked the tigers had a 20% chance of winning the WC v the Yankees 8% but miracles do happen in baseball. | ||
