I was conmparing SK to Paladin

Besides the difference in spells.. another factor to consider is what races can play the class.

In one corner you have Ogre, Troll, Iksar and DE. In the other Dwarf, High Elf, and Half-Elf..

And it is at this point when it doesn’t really seem to be a tough decision.

Subjective opinion but erudites in plate do look pretty cool, imo. And an ocean knight is a neat and unique concept.

i think they have the most swagger of paladin races.. also sk erudite has most intellect.. kind of a cool race/class combo

i want to add i had an erudite sk.. put all my points in intelligence, had sentient armor.. had more mana than most casters in my group

was fun at first, but problem i ran into with SK is you rarely have any time to meditate so having high intelligence is relatively limited in functionality

Paladins are pretty good, u don't even need clerics if you have paladins around. IDK why ppl hate them.

paladins are from the 12th century

i once read that the knight's templar considered paladins to be extremists, and that paladins believed in cannibalism of their enemies because they thought it would give them magical powers

i always kind of assumed that if the knight's templar was taliban then the paladins would be ISIS

Paladins are the best hands down it's just that SKism is a symptom of modern culture. Everyone wants what appears to be the easy short cut to victory, so they pick the more warlike "offensive" class.

But in Reality if Heaven's Gate Opens and an Army of Paladins marches down, ye-undead motherfuckers would be fucked.
