Default Why so few Rogues on P99?

I am about to roll a Rogue, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing some big reason why there are so few on P99. Thanks!

I imagine it's mainly because they're boring to play and can't solo. They are extremely useful in groups and raids since they are the best DPS in the game (except for wizards on raid bosses).

They are in the same boat as warriors, pretty much requiring a group 20+ without thousands of plat worth of gear. I'm sure this is an unappealing concept for a lot of new p99er's.

On the other hand, it's very easy to find groups here contrary to popular belief, and rogues are always welcomed party members [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yea groups have been pretty easy to come by so far. I was playing a Paladin, but when I heard how weak they are, I decided a class change was in order.

make sure to max out intimidate, though it doesn't always work, it is the best way to get your backstabs off when soloing.

Rogues are awesome just hard to solo so will be reliant on groups

soloed 1-57 so far, all it took is a fungi, some HP gear, and knowing where to level. Epic MQ's aren't too hard to come by, although I managed without til 53.

Yeah but most people starting out aren't going to have a fungi.. Its the only thing that makes rogue solo'ing viable really outside of that sweet spot when intimidate works really well

Yea wish I could afford a fungi. I've gotten lucky that I got a few pieces of armor and a decent wep (9/25) so i've gotten to ten in just a few days. Hoping to keep moving forward although I am going to be needing groups very soon. But for my first char I don't mind the grind! I am excited the epic is rather easy, but am in no real rush to get it.
