I don't see the point in this, the devs have already hinted at starting up a fresh server (a looooong time) after Velious. The only people that would support this are people who haven't put much time into their characters.

Yeah.
Haters gonna hate. Cheaters gonna cheat. Overachievers gonna overachieve. I'm just gonna kill pixel stuff for more pixel stuff.

I voted wipe it.
Frankly the server has been irrevocably damaged by the extended timeline, and I don't think Velious alone is going to fix it. It's not so much about cheaters -- who will find ways to cheat -- it's about the ridiculous glut of high-level, geared characters. So I say wipe it, and change the emu registration process so that one can never use a new email other than the one associated with the account at birth. That way changing the passwords is meaningless and account sales will end, too. That's how I'd fix what's wrong with this server. Honestly, when I started playing here almost four years ago, I thought the work was done and that the timeline would be classic as well as the content. If I had known then that this was just an extended beta I probably would have said, "No thanks", let me know when the timeline won't be horribly skewed.

I vote yes if the new server doesn't have variance

I'd like to know how a server wipe is going to get rid of cheaters, please.

Though of course this would never happen, I'd be for it.
It would be nice if they'd open a new server, with some rules, as barkingturtle said above. No email changes, stop the account buying and selling, a lot of the early bugs and loopholes have been fixed now, etc.
