You can't use actual science to educate people who get their medical facts from fox news and youtube. But you're 100% correct. I would expect nothing less.

Do I think we will ever reach heard immunity with covid? The way this is politicized, not anytime in the next couple of years. It's going to be a nightmare for years to come.

I do also agree with this, only for the fact that it's going to be too late. The fact that many people are still using the natural immunity strategy and other are resistant to getting the vaccine just means this virus is going to continue mutating. Herd immunity will be a pipe dream soon enough. The time we had to thwart this virus could be long gone, which I anticipated would happen.
