Default Load time

I've noticed recently the load time became very fast, which is unclassic. Whatever the devs did to make the loading speed behave like 56K modem on AOL was God's work - why make something unclassic?

i agree with this post, the new load times while i love them and they have made porting actually stable (no more LDs on nearly every gate or port), they are not classic. The guide seems nice to make the game appear more classic but the load times we cannot edit. this is serverside. While i disagree that this is a bug..it is unclassic.

well my hard drive didnt change at all, the speed did. wasnt on my end.

but i suppose i could buy new-old hardware to emulate what the server was already doing before. I'm just happy we have eq no real complaints. maybe its not classic but im just grateful we have it.
