I gave them a shot. I prefer the texture of the old water elemental a bit better than this new one but I will admit that the new one resembles water from a fountain a lot closer. The other three are just stellar. It's a big improvement in game.
The shape of the elementals remained the same despite what the above image shows. My focused pets do NOT have the wispy trailing lower portions. They have the full sized focused body instead with the textures.

The shape of the pet models for me aren't this pointed-teardrop at the bottom, they're more rounded. Is there a way to get the pointed bottoms like in the picture by OP?

Classic mob models can have alternate "heads". Think of the different shapes of Vox's head versus Naggy's, or giant vs cyclops vs sand giant vs ice giant heads -- same base model, different head model. Elementals have two different "heads"... One is a stump at the bottom of their body, the other is a tail. The server tells your client which to use whenever an elemental is spawned. (The way I remember it, only earth elemental pets should use the stump version over the tail, but I'm not a classic expert or mage player.)

Is there a way to implement the elemental/blade textures manually? EQExport doesn't work for me.

1. File -> Open the S3D 2. File -> Import Files... (or press Insert) 3. File -> Save the S3D Make sure auto-conversion when importing is disabled in preferences when using EQ-Zip. S3DSpy: 1. File -> Set EQ folder 2. Select the S3D in the left pane 3. Archive -> Add (or press Insert) EQGExport and EQ-Zip won't work in Windows XP, but S3DSpy will.
