My account is banned...?

I logged in this morning only to find out my account is currently banned. No explanation.

Is there any way I can find out what happened?

Petition in the forums. They'll usually get it sorted if you're innocent. I got blanket banned once and was very confused and concerned. I petitioned and they asked me a few questions and reversed it. Turned out I did some transfers for a dude who was caught rmting. Maybe something similar to you? Hope ya get it resolved.

Have you shared your account with anyone? Lots of accounts getting banned recently for IP association with people that did RMT.

I.e. If your friend has logged on to your account, then gets himself banned for RMT, you will get banned as well because his IP address logged into your account.
It can be a pain to get them to reverse this. I know one person who got screwed by his RL friend in this manner, and GM's dont seem to believe him at all.

I'm the only one who uses my account (that I'm aware of), and I don't know of anyone doing nefarious things for whom I may have done a transfer.
Also, I have to create a new account in order to do a /petition.... That's annoying.

As long as you did not buy platinum or items for real life dollars you will be fine. If you spent real life dollars on pixels then your account is gone forever and you should start over if you want to continue playing.
