How to get a character:
You can not create a character on the beta server. Instead you must /beta on the character (on either blue or red) you want to appear on beta (there are 8 char slots)
What is beta buff?
Beta buffing turns your character into a pre-furnished template of a level 60 character of whatever your current character is. This will change your race to whatever the beta buff race is.
How do I beta buff?
To beta buff target the giant gnome banker in Nro and say 'beta buff me'.
How do I get platinum for stuff
Since none of the beta buff templates come with platinum it is prudent to sell off all your droppables once you beta buff, and then beta buff again. You will need plat for spells and reagents.
How do I get new Velious spells:
See the Giant gnomes in either nro or thurgadin.
How to raise your faction:
Target any of the gnomes and say:
- I would like to increase my standing with clawsofveeshan
- I would like to increase my standing with kromzek
- I would like to increase my standing with kromrif
- I would like to increase my standing with coldain

What are beta staffs:
There are four staffs unique to beta that make shit infinitely easier: Staff of Beta Binding, Staff of Beta Corpse Summon, Staff of Beta Res, and Staff of Beta Thurgadin Gate. These can be purchased from the giant gnomes in either nro or thurgadin.
How to travel around:
There are gnome teleports in both nro and thurgadin. Using this porter combined with the Staff of Beta Thurgadin Gate is by far the easiest and quickest way to get around if you have some direction as to where you want to go.
