There's still encrypted nets layered behind a little bit of pseudo anonymity, but you are essentially a criminal now for accessing or facilitating the access to them, especially as many distribute content. You can also thank the republican congress of the last two years or so for helping to make all of this substantially more illegal.
Now if your name is Hillary Clinton and this all exists somewhere on a virtual machine in some government paid for server farms RAM. You're all golden. Acess your pee tapes as much as you want.
The democrats won't resolve this either. It's especially nice to have the Republicans doing the dirty work for them... Soon this will all be forgotten about when the "dems win" and the next shiny thing hits Amazon.

Pretty soon the common man will be robbed of the technological means to communicate with anonymously and safely. Radio probably had a brief period like this as it was discovered as well, but that was more the perview of the rich elite, aka Bell Labs et al.
Video could use more historical and technical accuracy IMHO. At least I used to be a specialist in this field.... So, I think I am still relevant. In a very general sense.
