I found two associated to my character, but I didn't see the .ini at the end. So would I maybe just need to find and copy eqclient? I just want to do this right and not screw up my character... that is terrifying me, lol

You probably don't have file explorer set to show file extensions. Click start, start typing "folder options" (without quotes), choose "folder explorer options", click on the "View" tab and turn 'em on:

Oh, if you're really worried - just copy your entire EQ folder somewhere else. You can just delete the newly-installed one if you have troubles and put the backup back in the original location.
The only caveat to this is if you've been playing with the game installed under program files, and NOT running in admin mode. (If you installed anywhere else you can ignore this). In which case, your char's actual ini files will be in your user temp directory under c:\users\<your username>\appdata\(somewhere in here) - this means they won't be affected by anything you do to your EQ folder or the files in there. -Mcoy | ||
