Greater Vocaration pets hitting for less after patch

Before the Nov 20th patch focused 57-60 mage pets used to hit for 62 max, but now they only hit for 60 max. What gives?

the sol ro focus items don't have an effect after the 49 pets

The change from 70 to 62 max with water staff was months ago.

This latest patch took the max damage (and level?) down, max for water is now 60 with water staff.
