Well shit and fuck. And lolocaust at accident magnet.

I have been exceedingly lucky. Last thing that hit me was a fucking roo. Hit me from the side, nighttime and took the front nearside guard/door out. Scared the absolute shit outta me.

Locals say it was bound to happen eventually.

Sorry... it is true though. Luckily it didnt try to sit on my lap.

Should we start a thread where we share our most current vexing dilemma and rate each other's in categories such as 'believable/true', 'first world problem scale', 'fallout half-life', etc. Cause i could maybe hate to win if playing wouldn't kill me.

The only rule is login name must predate the second coming of Donald the Trump.
Sorry. I've currently got no earth shatteringly debilitating problems. Other than ive never earnt so much before the current job but feel my spending power has lessened. Same as most of us. Biggest problem if im pushed is not enuf free time to game. Woe is me.

This story true/mostly true or what?

I'm leaning towards nopenopes thoughts of a truth weaved fantasy.
I.E he has the 11million pp monk but arrived there as a consequence of different circumstances.

Thoughts?

I know im going to deep dive into phycology while I drive around in my forklift picking shit up. And putting shit down.

I wont be able to kelp myself.
FWIW 100% true. Truth interwoven with more truth.so if you’re the kind of person to beat off to someone’s acts of folly, you have come to the right place.

On a side note, I’m starting to think uninstalling might have prevented a lot of my problems. I remember final fantasy 11 used to have a warning before playing - please do not forget your school, your work, your family or your friends.

I have had my fair share of problems with addiction in my life. not sure why p99 would be any different for me. Not quite ready yet, as I just got this monk to assume his ultimate form, but pretty soon I think I really need to uninstall and pick up what’s left of the pieces of my life

Damn yeah that woulda been a jolt. I’m picturing that jacked roo I sent you a pic of, I bet those boys can really throw their body around and do some damage if they want

It wasn’t as bad as I expected battling insurance. It was a white dude with dreadlocks so at first I was like oh shit, he better have insurance. But we actually had the same plan. So when they called to “determine liability” I said look we were both in the same position. We both had to jam on the brakes because a fire truck was roaring down a side street and the guy in front of me jammed on his. I was able to stop without hitting him, the guy behind me wasn’t without hitting me. I’m not going to speculate on why, but I shouldn’t be responsible at all for this… and the insurance lady said his plan will be paying 100% of my repair and rental

So a decent ending other than now having the hassle of setting up the repair

I would guess there are probably more current or former addicts of various things here than non. I’m one of them as well

I’ve always been of the opinion that skills developed by playing MMO’s can translate to real world application. Things like micromanaging various variables, min/maxing performance, and being dedicated/diligent being some that come to mind

I would def recommend a complete break from pr0n, and not singling you out but speaking in generality. Especially if your goal is to try again with women, whoever that may end up being. In addition to avoiding it continuing to mess with our minds, deprivation creates motivation. Deny yourself that dopamine, the cheap Walmart knock-off substitute to the oxytocin we get from a relationship. Getting back out there is terrifying enough, it helps to have some powerful primal urges driving us. Anger also tends to overpower fear. Not meaning at women or your ex or anyone for that matter, but more at one’s current position

Hey Hagglebaby, I'm glad to read the crash got resolved satisfactorily.

Where you are from do non-liable claims and accidents without claims still count against future insurance premiums? Or is it a case of 'it isn't your fault so we won't jack up next year's prices'? Where I'm from it is considered that if you are in an accident, even when it isn't your fault, you're more likely to be involved in future accdients so you premiums go up.

Nope^4 totally agree about the skills you can get from EQ. It can be a big time sink, and honestly it is easy for it to be a brainrot comparable to TV if you're just semi-afk killing by just auto attacking / sending pet / spamming nukes. That said, even TV can have benefits, but I believe the benefits of EQ can be really quite high.

Definitely eq helps develop social skills (especially in online contexts, which is super relevant these days, and leadership and teamworker skills). It helps goal selection and planning skills, budgeting skills, and research skills. Hell, as we see in the monk weapon selection skills it can be a good arena to learn and develop literacy in mathematical statistics, experimental design and more!

From stats you can consider other eq adjacent things, such as forums. Definately I'm a much better shitposter on account of Everquest. My racism and general biggotry skills were very underdeveloped before I joined these forums.

Nothing turned out fine for me. I’m not the guy who got in a car accident. I’m the loser with no wife
