Default I went even further back in time...

Playing Ultima Online on a classic T2A shard and I am addicted. You want skillful gameplay and ruthless pvp I think UO may be best bro's.

Except the over-use of razor macros severely diminishes the experience.

This is true, but I don't hate too much on the macro's. Just lets you get the easy skills up for some survivability. if you are new you still need tons of cash to get up the other skills, which usually leads to a pretty natural growth of skills.

Macros are absolutely vital during serious PvP, and that's where it really bothers me. IMO it takes some of the skill out of the game. I still very much enjoy playing on T2A from time to time.
