The only chance Russia would have is if the US invaded via the European Steppes or a nuclear exchange.

There's no guarantee China would join them either.

Even so, the US has plenty of allies as well. We're getting warmer with India every day and they're rivals of China.

Russia talks a big game and their country is massive, but they wouldn't stand a chance. Especially since the US has major bases in nearby Europe.

Russia has no military option concerning combat with the US. Oceans make great defenses as the Japanese found out when they tried to invade Alaska. What we're not showing is our playable hand while we're selling what is of no consequence. Why don't more of you play poker?

Russia's primary option is to sew internal discord which they've gotten good at by catching up to the US through the internet. US has international sanctions to work with which disrupt economic activity, so pick your poison, I guess.
