Realized chairs just suck and these 24-hour task chairs aren't a fix for the fact chairs suck.

i have spent 300 dollars on a chair aswell before and it went the way the same as the cheap 100-150 dollar ones.

I'm thnking about springing for something nice, like those 1300 dollar executive chairs, i just hope they arn't pieces of shit either.

I have a 900$ aeron and it's still in perfect condition five years later

A Steelcase Leap or Herman Miller Aeron will run you $800-1000 if you buy new but they are seriously worth every penny and will last a lifetime.

If you don't want to spend that much get an IKEA Markus for $200. It's pretty much the best chair you can buy under $500 and has a 10-year warranty.
