For a bison farmer I did not expect this level of understanding [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]. If you dont know what he's talking about go learn, because it is very 100% true. Understanding charts and fundementals is a huge benefit.

Wow great P/E if they keep it up its a hell of a good investment, esp since they are 1/2 of IPO price.
Yeah, def. Most/all of their business is outside the US. One of the few solar's that hasn't been in the red in the past few years.

They just (last week) bought an LED mfg. company which has some unique tech.

Q1 earnings released today after market close.

Update from the WSJ:

"GT Solar's fiscal first-quarter profit more than doubled on better-than-expected revenue growth, as the solar-equipment manufacturer reported results that smashed Wall Street's expectations. Shares jumped 20% to $8.30 in after-hours trading, as GT Solar also lifted its full-year view. "

Hope you bought it!

Anyone else here buy / sell stocks, even on a small basis?
Figured we can have a thread with tips on investments we're currently involved in.

SFNS Summit Financial
Bought it at $0.51 now at $1.05

Forward looking companies:

TSLA Tesla Motors, IPO last month at $20/share
ESLR Evergreen Solar, $0.75/share, Solar companies will be the oil companies of our future.
in 2008 I bought an undisclosed number of shares of AMD at $1.89 a share, they hit a low of $1.82, now at $7.52. They almost hit $10 last year once, and then again and that's when I sold.

Tesla motors is something I'm considering.
