Default Linux: Wine mouse warping

Anyone else have the Wine issue where the eqgame.exe fails to exclusively acquire the mouse pointer, and therefore scrolling to the edge of your window while mouse looking gates you from rotating any further? The result is an abrupt stop while turning and drove me crazy!

I have been making custom Wine builds for years to overcome this with a brutal mouse hack included. I may try to get this into upstream someday (probably not) but in the meantime thought I'd mention it in case anyone else is running into this on Linux or Mac while running Wine. This go round was particularly annoying to build because Ubuntu dropped i386 releases in 19+.

If there is interest I'll post the source code and/or binaries.

Cheers!

This.

Personally I allow the window manager to control and decorate the windows, but I don't emulate a virtual desktop. I think in the past I may have run with virtual desktop emulation though, so YMMV (like Izmael said, play with the options).
