Question Backstab and haste questions

Concerning backstab damage, the wiki has this info:

Backstab uses a weapon damage multiplier of: 2 + (Skill * 0.02).
((Offense + (Str up to 200) + (str over 200 / 5)) * WepDmg * Mult) / 100

I'm 51 with a Ragebringer, so plugging in my stats I get:
((215 + 200 + (55 / 5)) * 15 * (2 + (203 * 0.02))) / 100 = 387

However, I recently got two backstabs for 459 in the same night. How could I have gotten 459 when the maximum should be 387?

Also, is there any worn/wielded haste items that will stack with the Ragebringer's haste? I'm pretty sure the answer is no from what I've read, but there was a thread where a guy was using a RBG along with his epic and I couldn't understand why.

*edit* Forgot my last question. The wiki says this about level 50+ traits:
"Level 53 - Minimum Backstab Damage"
What does this mean?

there's only that many droppable waist items for melees, and rbg is a good one considering its stats. for example my monk is using rbg AND cof

unless you want to shed more plat for turtle belt, or go cheap with spider fur belt/thick banded belt

i also have the same question with lvl 53 minimum backstab, because my backstab at 53 can go as low as 79 points of dmg where as at 52 my lowest was around 77 or 78

51+ guide isn’t very good.

Here you go:

Lv 10-50: minimum backstab = level
Lv 51-54: minimum backstab = level * 1.50, sneak speed+
Lv 55-59: minimum backstab = level * 1.75, double backstab
Lv 60: minimum backstab = level * 2, sneak speed cap, assassinate, 100% haste cap

You’ll sneak a little bit faster each level after 51. 54 or 56 you’ll break into a jog and will eventually be close to full run speed at 60.

When you say 100% haste cap at 60, does that mean there is haste caps at lower levels?

Yes there is, it's on the wiki somewhere.

Yes, essentially the gist of it is you cap haste with a 20% tier haste if you group with an enchanter about equal or slightly higher level than you. If you want to function close to haste cap with lesser haste spells you'll need a haste item better than fbss tier. Roughly.

Check the Haste Guide wiki for more exact details.

On live there are separate caps for worn and spell haste. Is that not true here? The wiki only has data for total haste and doesn't separate the two.

So rogues would wear a RBG even though the haste won't stack with the Ragebringer? Since the haste won't stack with the epic, all your left with are the belt's stats which don't seem to warrant the cost of 18k. Am I missing something?

While haste is a major component, its just for lack of a better item to go there at that price range. Turtle belt is pretty good too, but it costs like 5x RBG price.

TBB seems like a better choice than RBG with +15 STR. And, it's only 2k vs. 18k.
