Default Ring War Discussion

Guild Leadership on the server need to come together and come to a mutually agreed upon arrangement for Ring Wars.

The split second Badain spawn to turn in needed to go (and it's a shame that there wasn't any enforcement from staff in regards to 3rd party programs for those cheaters - er, sorry "people competing"), and now we've got a community roll off for a BiS item...

Ring 10 should be awarded based on merit with whatever system a guild uses that can handle taking on the challenge of Ring War, not a random.
I see you there, TSS, you can put your hand down.

A random amongst guild representatives to determine which entity gets a Ring War would be one such solution if /random is the lazy catch all solution we're sticking with, as it would alleviate a myriad of issues: namely, such a coveted item being distributed amongst guild members who earned it and not someone's 6th acct alt.

For anyone that saves/saved for such an item, this is a slap in the face. Slap in the face to the whole raid community really.

No need to sort 120 rolls in 20s. Or counting who jumped more than twice while swapping crown of rile or other such inane, arbitrary ruling. No more screen staring, click spamming, 3rd party program-faster-than-human-reaction turn ins not being policed.

Of all the possible starting discussion points to run Ring War, community /random should be the absolute last (well, just ahead of the sub-human time click fest that's been running the scene).
