Default LOOM

In rivervale one can find a Loom to use for Tailoring, this is a good thing.

Now that being said, when one activates the Loom for using, you get a tradeskill container window that says "Sewing Kit". Why is this?

In classic Everquest in 1999 and 2000 I clearly remember using a Loom and it being labeled as a LOOM. Is this a bug and if so, does it effect any combines that REQUIRE a Loom? Im not sure but I do know that it seems to be a mislabel on the container.

I hope this can be rewritten, its minor but I believe it will help with immersion and fluidity.

Thank you for your time,

Mazoku

No combines require "A loom" so it wont interfere there.

Only difference is that a loom has 10 slots compared to the 8 of a large sewing kit.

Resolving as Loom being named sewing kit is indeed correct. There is a thread floating around about it. Also gives reasonable evidence that they were not in classic, but a Velious addition.
