Default Casting spells in first-person

Is there plans to add or fix seeing the spell effects of your own spell come up your screen when casting in first person. I remember that from Trilogy live. Doesnt happen here and it makes me kinda sad, cuz I always loved the spells going up my screen. Sure I'm not the only one

The old spell system will show up in first person and in this client they don't work correctly. The new spell system is clipped, it's most likely not possible to make them appear in first person view.

If it works in the old client, can I just copy files from say EQ Trilogy over into my Titanium Folder?

Default want to see my own spells in first person

I'm wondering about this as well!

Sure doesn't make much sense that you have to go to 3rd person to see your own spell-casting;
you can see yourself melee (hands/weapon graphics/animation) in first person, so why not spells?

Yeah kinda sad. Very annoying of youre an enchanter or shaman for example, because there is often just not enough space to use 3rd person view and then you have your huge head in the way and cant target properly.

What about making the camera zoom out just a tiny bit (or on a different position), so that you wont see your own model yet, but the spell effects will show?
Funny thing is some spells, like Lich will at least show when they land, while shielding or something wont.
btw, I played EQ from 1999 through 2009 on live and never saw the spell effects not working in first person, and I only played in first person.
Theres something wrong.
