People aren't toxic, but behavior can be.

And when people behave in a toxic manner it reveals pain and frustration from other aspects of their life.

If you engage in toxic behavior, take a step back and reflect. Find the origin of your pain (likely repetitive judgment or tasks left undone or both) and improve yourself.

If someone else engages in toxic behavior, don't add to the unpleasantness, instead recognize they are in pain and don't seek to exacerbate it.

To knowingly and repeatedly lie until other people believe lie. I don't think it's gaslighting if the person legit believes what they are saying, even if it's incorrect. I think actual gaslighting is more about intent to deceive.
