Does Green Need Tanks?
I'm having trouble figuring out which class I want to play. I kind of what to play my paladin because I haven't played one before on P99 and I love the feeling of progression with gearing up a melee from nothing, but I'm concerned that because:
1. Most of the server is playing something OP like an enchanter, necromancer, or mage 2. Hybrid experience penalty exists ... that maybe people are just YOLOing groups with pet swarms and rarely inviting tanks. Is there a need for tanks? Are they able to find groups? No way in hell am I soloing a paladin

Definitely more tanks. I play and SK and often have trouble finding a group replacement for myself. Well, less so these days as people have leveled up.
Can't do much of anything without a tank, in that sense rangers and some monks do count. Always gotta have somebody to keep the mobs off of the casters.

Too much solo mind set on the server for pet groups. The vast majority of people that play pet classes do it to solo. Not classic.

Paladin is a fantastic grouping class IF you can deal with the Hybrid Penalty.
Groups will still invite you because you're a tank and your ability to save group wipes is huge. Also there's plenty of undead in Classic/Kunark to get your full potential as a Pally.
