Even if the police don't have record of a MAGA comment, it still could have happened. Would be best to get clarification from the dude who was beat up. Wouldn't think he would overlook that in a police report or that a police spokesman would lie, but it remains a possibility.

The strange thing is the tariffs against China were where we were going eventually. The intellectual property theft and their investments across the Belt and Road... we were going to eventually enter a Cold War with the Chinese communist party. Trump won’t win in 2020, but he might get people concerned about reform (term limits, permanently ending mechanisms to cause government shutdowns, electoral college), and more engaged in civics.

But yeah, so far he’s been a disaster for our global perception of leadership and he frequently makes me embarrassed to be an American. So who the fuck knows. I still don’t know how I’d vote Dem...
Oh, and the deficit + rolling back environmental restrictions make us less competitive and innovative compared to more prescient countries
