From a 'solo' point of view.
If you want to piss off an entire zone go bard. If you have a guild that will hand you everything or a 400k plat bank go shaman. If you enjoy being asked for ports go druid.

Necro if you want to be able to log in for minutes, kill a few mobs and logout.
Other classes require more time commitment to set up soloing. I never played a shaman though.
