Tweaking the red used in con messages?
I'm partially colorblind and I'm having a lot of trouble with the red text that gets displayed in the chat windows. I can change many of the red messages (yell for help, etc.) to a nice orange in the client, but I can't find where to adjust the red con text. The reason that's important is because I can tell stuff is red to me (obviously) but I can't tell if it's scowling, dubious, etc. without pausing and getting my face about 10 inches from my monitor.
Is there an ini file or something where I can adjust the RGB values for the con messages?

I think those colors are hard coded. You might have better luck making the font larger and changing the background color to contrast it?

Looks like it's the "targetindicator.ini" file that's within the uifiles folder and in the folder for whatever UI you're running.
For example mine is in EverQuest\uifiles\velious Found this within this thread: https://forums.daybreakgames.com/eq/...er-color.1667/ -Mcoy

Oh, that's the "target ring" that live puts around your target... Hrm. I'll keep looking but as feniin said that may not be adjustable.

You can change the background color, maybe that would help.
