Would a level 38 Mob give exp all the way to 50?

I found a decent solo camp, of a 38 mob, could I in theory solo this one mob all the way to 50 or would exp fall off?

-14 or more, GREEN - you could probably win this fight.
-1 to -13,BLUE - appears to be quite formidable.
0, WHITE - looks like quite a gamble.
+1 and +2, YELLOW - looks like it would wipe the floor with you!
+3 or more, RED - what would you like your tombstone to say?

50 - 13 = 37

I just crunched some numbers based on this guy being level 40...
It takes 175,000,000 exp to hit 50, if he's 40 he already has 83,200,000.
Avg 38 mob gives 108,300 exp, so subtract what he has from what he needs and divide it by that amount and he has to kill that mob.......<drumroll>
847.6 times. Start killing now bud

Also, pretty cool trick that not many know about: If you want to check how many exact experience points you currently have and how many until the next level you can type /ex when in game.

So 6 min spawn, ~85 hrs, 2 hrs a day, 3 months? Not counting time spent getting spells and selling, but also. If you can kill it at 38... you could just wait to buy spells at 50 I guess.
