Spells: Call of the Hero not clearing aggro correctly

I was trying to pull Gkrean in Kael out into the courtyard basically by shooting an arrow at him, then hide/sneaking past the three protectors while a mage CotH'd me back to the arena camp spot, then our monk would tag him from there after I had been CotH'd.

It worked really well. First two attempts I didn't get them out far enough, but was successfully CotH'd each time so I could just run back and try again. Third time looked good - Gkrean was clearly out into the courtyard after I'd been CotH'd, and our monk had a clear shot at him.

Except CotH didn't clear my aggro, so Gkrean, his priest guardians, and the three protectors all came to our camp and gave us a good stomping.

It looks like it cleared agro and something caused it to re-agro, maybe a DoT or being too close.

I definitely wasn't too close, I was CotH'd back to the right side safe spot where people usually pull mobs to in arena, and I pulled them farther away from us the third time when they reaggro'd than I did the first and second time.

No dots, since the only casters that aggro'd me were clerics. I'm pretty confounded by it... the only thing I can think of is maybe there's something buggy going on when another player is added to the hate list - for instance, the monk getting aggro right before I was CotH'd - and then after I got CotH'd, I wasn't fully cleared of aggro for some reason.

It looked like the monk was doing his tag thing, all the giants that were on me went to him after I was CotH'd, but once he feigned death they all came right to me like I was #2 on the hate list. I was way out of proxy aggro range, though.

The way I'm reading that is, you get CotH'd and I immediately you get those 3-4 aggro messages from the priests and clerics. It's possible the memblur part of CotH worked on you and the split second between that working and you physically getting summoned was a server tick allowing those mobs to reaggro.

I've done a lot of CotH pulls in Velious, I've yet to have any issue with memblur. This appears to be a freak incident.

I'm betting that CoTH is working correctly. My guess is that whole thing they implemented a while back about not being able to range a spell from a mob once it starts casting is the issue. Time your CoTH better and it should work.
