The only era where rogues weren't distantly king/top dog/hot shit is classic era, specifically PoSky. Most of that problem was due to shit hit boxes.

Gorenaire is another specifically where rogues won't do as much as you'd like.

Shadow Knight...

Every class can do something at raids but I don't think shadow knights have a special ability that adds utility or makes them better at any given task than another class. Every other class has something which they are best at or that the raid misses when it isn't present.... but no one has ever said "Damn, we don't have any SK here"

Ranger: best speed bump + CoTP
Warrior: Tank
Mage: CoTH + summoned items
Wizard: TL + best DPS in some scenarios
Rogue: Best general DPS (one day if every monk has abashi + triple attack + 2h damage bonus maybe these guys will be obsolete =P )
Enchanter: TASH/C2/VOG/GOB/GRM + Best DPS in some scenarios
Necro: DMF + Pet Pull + twitch
Druid: Mobility + PoTG + Best DPS in some scenarios
Cleric: Heal Chain + Buffs
Shaman: Malo + Buffs + Slow + torpor
Bard: Mana regen + kiting + DS + resists
Monk: FD + Voidance (maybe future best general DPS at very end game)
Paladin: Divine Strength

SK can do some stuff on raid with their pet and ability to FD but they aren't better than necros / monks / paladins at any of the stuff they might try and do on raids...

I answered above that shadow knights don't bring anything to the end game but if your plan is to play to 60 and then quit, SK is a great tank while grinding to 60

Druids are pretty good on Hoshkar, but hardly anyone keys one for VP. I used to top parses on old Dracoliche with my rogue and druid because everyone else was bad at the hit box.

Lure of Ice is 180 DPS. Rogues do around 100 DPS, maybe 150 if really short fight and burning disc.

There are maybe 2 wizards on this server that are able to push respectable DPS without pulling aggro.

I play both of them.
