You would think India with it's huge agrarian population and lack of birth control would be exploding. It's not. Their rate is 2100 for 1000, which is exactly at the replacement level. Soon it will start to go down like everywhere else.

Every industrialized nation is shrinking in population. There's zero reason to have children unless you have a farm or a family business.

This isn't going to change. No one is going to start paying people to have babies anytime soon. The decline will continue and accelerate.

The winner will be the nation that can maintain or slow it's decline the most.

The only solution is immigration.

Illegal immigration.

That's because legal immigration takes too long and admits too few people.

The vast vast majority of immigration into the US is Spanish speaking people from Central and South America. These people are fine. They like family, they have religion and culture, they like to work. We need them more in 20 years than we need 'secure' borders now.

Without these people our standard of living will fall faster than with them.
