I dressed up to celebrate the release of World of Warcraft: Dragonflight!

So far Dragonflight plays like Pandaria except you can ride dragons that have momentum n shit. They finally reformed crafting/professions. Who knows whether I'll play more than a month but I have found myself actually wanting to log on.

Lots of gay and trans npc's which I find hilarious, not because they are lgbtq, but because it's in the wake of a massive lawsuit lol. Hilariously, the starting zone is literally called the 'Waking shores' (waking ~ woke)

I'm sure months from now, when I'm bored and drunk, I'll download WoW and check out the new expansion.

WoW is like an ex that you drunk text at midnight but instead of telling you to fuck off, opens her legs wide open for you.

Then the next morning, you realize again why you broke up with her.

Are you me? I've played every expansion but in steadily decreasing amounts, not more than a month each since Legion. Although grad school may have had something to do with that.

I was skimming Asmonglold’s playthrough vid, and they have this female who sounds like she’s trying imitate a guy voice (because empowered women = manly butch women it seems) leading your char around. This woman says it’s her first day on the job, and you can tell she’s been written to try to come across as endearing

There’s a part where you have to rescue these dragon eggs, and this NPC woman escort you have tells you to grab an egg and run, while she dies for the cause next to you. When you bring the egg back, the writers forgot to make the other NPC’s acknowledge her death or even her existence

They just continue on with their scripted dialog not even acknowledging this NPC who just died like “fuck that bitch”

yea lol it was clear they brought her into the studio and were like "ok, I need you to do your best bull dike, like it has to be really obvious that's what you are"

You come across several bull-dikes in that zone, followed by a clearly very effeminate dracthyr, voiced by someone whose voice hasn't broken yet

I'm not in the business of hating people because of who they love, but it's a little over the top.

Because we all saw how well subverting expectations worked out for GoT’s last season didn’t we

The reviews are already saying the show sucks. Nothing wrong with “THE MESSAGE” when you make it secondary to a good story. Otherwise if you don’t, you just condition the audience that gay romance = bad storytelling and that’s really a shame for gay people
