Lodizal and FTE

With the new spawn points added to Lodizal
AND
the fact that NPCs generate FTE messages
AND
the prior statement from GMs stating that because fresh FTE is near impossible from Lodizal (meaning that you don't have to wait get a new FTE),
THEN
how the hell do you tell who has legitimate claim to kill Lodizal now?

I would not think that 'a Snowfang spearman' should even GET an FTE message. Is this a bug that will be fixed?

As I remember it was working as it was in 2001, with the tortle always spawning underneath the Ice with the gnolls on it

When did this change? Also, it's not hard to get FTE on Lodizal and doesn't require software.

Make a hotkey.

/pause 2, /pet attack Lodizal
/pause 2, /pet attack Lodizal
/pause 2, /pet attack Lodizal
/pause 2, /pet attack Lodizal
/pet attack Lodizal

Bind this hotkey to keys 1, 2, 3, 4.

Sit there watching TV while hitting 112222333444411122233334444 for 2 hours until FTE.

I've gotten FTE and didn't realize before because I was asleep at my keyboard hitting 1, 2, 3, 4 repeatedly.

If you need software to get Lodi FTE, you suck.

But still -- when was Lodizal spawn point changed? I don't see anything in patch notes. It's also not "classic" because through the next few xpacs, Lodi spawn was always under the ice with the gnolls on it.

pretty sure the new spawn mechanic is a misunderstanding. everything ive heard is that its still the same as before.
