What a stupid rule, legit feels like some sort of "cultural appropriation" leftist nonsense lol. As someone else stated literal in game NPCs that are Barbarian / Human use it, the Barbarians with the kilts / names have a Scottish / Irish design and apostrophes are incredibly common in those names.

I know in classic you could do any name as long as it wasn't " the' soandso". As "the" in surnames were only given to event winners.

That's not at all true: punctuation might have been allowed, but non-fantasy, real world-referencing names were not. At least half the names allowed here wouldn't have been allowed on live (we just don't have the paid staff to sit and validate names).
