Starting On Red
Just a couple questions. Can a friendly player play, and not get constantly ganked? If I die from pvp, what do I lose?
Is it possible to buy items, gear? Looking to play a monk, and I know the upper levels can get rough at times. How much would I need to save for a fungi? Other monk gear? Anything else I should know, please let me know! I like the idea of the small community. Thank you.

FIRST.
Firstly, do note the server’s population, which might be too low to play EverQuest tbh. Secondly, prepare to be thoroughly trolled and mocked by the type of people who post here. Only listen to people who currently play. Third, you can definitely level up without being constantly ganked. You will need to develop a thick skin, though, because you will have PVP encounters that you cannot win, and some players will be mean and cruel about it. There might still be a guild to play with.

PvP below 50 is extremely rare right now so don't let that deter you. Stay /anon and don't announce your location in ooc. Some of the guys have mid-level twinked toons parked in Mistmoore, HK, etc. for ganking purposes.
You might have some trouble finding groupage in the lower levels, but a bunch of other ppl are leveling up new toons right now so try to make friends. Once you hit 50 you'll have no problem finding a group for fun shit to kill.
