My research says bow dmg is ungamebreaking. May not be right butt isn't horribly broken.
Either roll a max dex TRL Or a max AGI elf. This is fine ) My half elf has good natty AGI and dex ) p cool. Hopefully it will get tweaked to be more classic one day with solid evidence backing it up. It's no worse than channeling code. Ac. Or parry/riposte accuracy curve. | ||

I agree Magnetaress.
Kinda funny of all the stuff that isn't classic the bow damage calc is like, too much to handle? I guess it seems super fixable even just removing weighted axe from the game. Its more classic to remove weighted axe then it is to have high power bows for trol / ogr / barb Even though right now I want to roll a barb warrior so I can be the only non evil guy using a sniper rifle bow since hes the only good guy who can carry a weighted axe. So tempting. ------------------------------------ I agree about hitting over 100 for the first time in like forever. Feels good even though I'm not contributing, except to keep it in peoples mind when I bother the people in the blue and green forums about it. | ||

(and i am pretty sure a few loved pvp) idk how hard it would be to add into the archery subroutine a cap on delay i think what happens is it pulls delay from the MH subroutine tho so that is a bit of a mess to fix without adding another loop anyway numbers alone aren't enough to make me upset i'm not a numbers type person for me oggok cleaver p gud too i've deraile into silly dumb dumb territory also rangers hsave nukes dispells, built in channeling proccy bows trueshot disc etc so i dunno what they really hve to complain hard about if anything this hurts bards the most because an army of melees can bow them down without ever coming in range of their songs G-d blessed my RNG so i hit hard even with the smollest weapons ))) | ||

As you can see the weighted axe is more than twice the delay of the alternative slow motion heavy weapons.
In the sense that it is a big time bard nerf, I like it. And yeah who knows 22 years ago maybe the same exact mechanic was in play and it just wasn't recognized, though I don't think that was the case. But thats what I mean it is easy to fix. If its hard to fix in the system, then just remove the weighted axe from red server. Or nerf it's delay down. It isn't the best fix but it gets the job done. | ||

its as fixable/nerfable as root nets yet and weighted axe isn't a neccessary item by any means for the game to function eitehr so i agree with that one the most easiest
just make it a vendor trash item remove its equipable status | ||

So Archery does more damage if the delay on your weapon is higher?
