Default WHere can a shaman farm plat to afford JBB?

I've got a 25 shaman right now, things are going well. I'm planning on killing treants from 30-35 or so to farm up several K to put towards a JBB when I hit 45. Where are some other places an ogre shaman without much in the way of twink gear can go to farm up enough money to afford a jbb?

Thanks for the ideas!

You are a wise Shaman. So many Shaman players fixate on improving their stat gear/haste item/weapons, wasting their plat while doing so, when those things have virtually no effect on their leveling. Relatively few save their plat from the early levels so that they're able to afford an item that actually will make a (big) difference in leveling. Kudos.

But to answer your question, check out the wiki's Treasure Hunting Guide (link in my signature). It's a communal effort and it's for all classes, but I (a Shaman) originally started it, so it's an especially good resource for us.

I can’t speak to this from experience but apparently Paineel guards are really good. They don’t lower your faction with heretics, and it’s insanely easy to get your faction up with paineel (kill in the warrens). Might need to get a friend to make a level 1 evil erudite to let you in since you need amiable to get a key, but just need apprehensive to sell.

So yeah, relatively low level guards, loot can be sold at nearby vendors, no faction hits.

if treants are camped the second floor of hhk has a guard named Chopin right bw the bards and nobles in a big room by himself. he drops a FS sword every time and is on a 3 min timer blue til 34 I think? Can Invis and sell to wizard/bard merchant in same zone, enjoy oh and not to mention double the exp rate that of treants bc of zem.

Mobs from 13 to 30 in permafrost. Drops a lot of hq ore, chain armour and fine steel weapons. Maybe the trade skill components are valuable to someone too?

Once you hit 29 you can charm the level 24 dire wolf that spawns in the pup pits. To do so root him, invis yourself, head to where you want to fight, let root break, Malo, charm and slay goblins with impunity. Keep the wolf buffed as you won't want to try spawn another one. Alternatively find the level 24 mammoth in everfrost and use it to farm tusks from its herdmates.

Guk is a decent cash spot; lots of expensive gems drop there as well as fine steel and a few different armour pieces with a couple of play each. Price any lore items to got; may as well shift them before you have another drop!

Not sure what level the mobs are in LOIO but once you can handle them I would go for a homerun and loot a Goblin Gazughi Ring from a sarnak courier. One drop and you are half way there!
