I feel like this is more of an RnF then a general chat post. I believe people can farm manastones if they want and if that makes them happy, that is awesome. I am glad they are free to do so. They may be fulfilling an old dream of being the first to have one after playing EQ for 20 years without one.

This is why I put the time into it. In all the years I played EQ, I never had one. It's neat and useful, at least for a while.

Considering I have put in over 72 afkish hrs just lazily leveling a necro to 45 on red99.

I feel like an 150 hr investment at a camp on green for a Manastone or guise chatting with good friends, watching movies, forum questing, and leveling another alt afkish potentially on red and or blue is probably time well spent. I'm guessing both camps are nearly solo able anyway, so any groups must put in barely any effort holding them, leaving room for tons of fun and friendly elven shenanigans.

FYI I know personally a good dozen people myself including back on Live Erollisi Marr that account shared and farmed stuff all the time. Heck me and my brother for the summer of 00 Did nothing but play each others toons in 12 hour shifts. GG you your bad OP. Learn to not be so bad, and make friends whos willing to account share with you. Hell even Lineage is smart enough to pay members DKP to account share and do it in shifts.

If you're going to let people camp it by account sharing, why not just let people RMT?

There was 1 guy for the most part (named penoy) who acquired most of the manastones on blue. We had like 50 players at launch and numbers gradually grew to around 200 where it remained for a good while.

My point being, there will be a lot more stones here. Probably around 2.5 +/- a day until the patch day when they are removed. You will be able to buy one if not handed one for free eventually. Don't get caught up in the FOMO

Confirmed hasn't camped a stone on Green.

Getting a Manastone has been a 7-day endeavor for some. The average camp time for everyone is approaching that.

Regardless of the power of the item (and it is a very powerful item), people that invested 7 days in 1 item aren't gonna give it away for free because of what it means to them.
