As someone who tries to give people the benefit of the doubt, that was my guess. And that’s what I would say as an excuse if I were trying to explain myself as that person. I mean, don’t say it if it’s not true, but I dunno…his initial offering of a manic episode as an explanation…ehhh…

It could be, but normally from my interactions with manic people mania usually feels pretty good. Makes people impulsive and very talkative definitely, but usually more of an “I have unlimited energy and can do anything, listen to all these new ideas I have” rather than raw, unfiltered aggression. But hey, I’m not an armchair psychiatrist and everyone is different

But yea, I’m going with alcohol, especially since the OP mentioned they guy has drank in the past

Accost is definitely not MD.

If he used to be, that's a different story. In my mind, I picture that he used to be a career MD, with a decent salary. And then he got sucked into 20-year old elf sim, and it ruined his life. His wife left him, his kids disavowed him. He lost his job, and got booted from any associations for playing p99 while at work. Or refusing on-call because he was poopsocking an exp camp like LDC.

Now all he's got is the 40 people who watch him play on twitch, and the bottle.

From the stories of what I've heard about him: I think this is the case.
