Only Sirken knows what the true motivation was but something made the devs figure out something most of us knew many years ago and add in regular earthquakes to ease the pressure.

Guess you can depend on P99 to get something right, but only after sitting on their arse for the better part of a decade first. Small step when many more were needed, though.

in a sense yes. the death of BDA spawned a horde of bitter trolls who have poisoned the forum discourse such that most of RNF has nothing to do with everquest.
