Some would argue not to bother with warrior epic and just get VP weapons. I agree with bard comment.

Epic can definitely be skipped, but you don't even need to get a VP key. While you definitely should for the utility weapons (ensnare spear, lifetap sword, feverblade, etc) a setup like Willsapper + Koi Trident is far better than epics. There's also too many other weapons to list, both one and two handers from Velious. Generally the advantage over VP weapons is stats. Willsapper and Trident stand out for having slow procs and stats. You really can never have too many Willsappers or Tridents on a raid, even an early 35% or 10% slow can save a fight - particularly because Trident slow lands on two of the highest damage raid targets in the game, Vyemm & Tunare.

The best reason to get epic is clout and for using mainhand for the first few procs. Considering it'd be far cheaper to get a better combo, it's not ideal. In terms of value (cost to obtain), Warrior epic is the worst in the game.

i have almost all the war weapons in game and if you say epic is useless/overpriced then you are just flat talking from your ass trying to sound like you know them all

also, if one can't get VP weapons then one has even less chance at trident or any other tov weapons. it's like saying you don't need any vp/tov weapons, because two sceptre of destruction is better than them all

Whut? You can literally stumble in to ToV at like level 5 whereas VP requires you dumping 40 hours of your life in to a key...

I must be missing something here - please elaborate!

Outside of Warrior Epic, VP and TOV weapons, what do you feel are the best aggro weapons a warrior should wield?

Will sapper and trident both suck since proc agro changes.

Red blade is bis agro proc (besides sod), use in offhand.
Feverblade is bis agro primary wep. Proc + white swing agro.
Epic 2hander is also very very good agro and survivability due to less repo.

Lady n horn is very good cheap dkp wise offhand agro due to 15 delay but it has no stats.

I use krezian flame primary + lady n horn when tanking silencing mobs /nod.

I have trident and only thing I use it for now is vymm (only cold based slow in game).
